 Discussion and Networking Day

11th July
12 – 4pm
Slung Low HUB
67-71 Bath Road
Holbeck
Leeds

Continuing conversations around the value of light in performance, we are hosting an informal afternoon of discussions at Slung Low’s HUB. We want to bring together a mix of practitioners and academics to talk about the ways light can be used on stage. All the attendees will be invited to share their work, offering a chance to form working partnerships and to celebrate the diversity of approaches across performance practice and research.

We will then offer some questions or provocations for discussion, inviting attendees to respond in small groups. Participants will be encouraged to spend as much time as they like with one group before moving to another, taking the ideas or conversations with them between groups and feeding them into new discussions.

If you would like to propose a topic for discussion on the day you can contact Katherine Graham (pckjg@leeds.ac.uk) or Kelli Zezulka (enklz@leeds.ac.uk).

The event is free and open to anyone with an interest in performing light, but booking is essential. Please RSVP to performinglight@gmail.com by Friday 30th June.
